A majestic presence amidst the scenic tea plantations, The Highlander has evolved from a personal passion project into an aesthetically curated tea bungalow. Today we stand proud as the iconic landmark of our quaint little village and the finest address of the region. ​
As a Private Retreat (not a commercially focused resort), we are not driven by financial targets but by the joy of welcoming guests who share our values and show genuine respect for our home, creating a mindful experience for everyone involved.
We invite you to indulge the 'Emotional Luxury Experience' that cannot be replicated in commercial establishments, regardless of their level of luxury. The enchanting vibe of this serene paradise is best experienced by traveling lovebirds, and often referred as The Honeymooner’s Shangri-La.

PLANTATION VISIT
Our guests can opt for a full day or half day plantation tours (walking) to experience the process of Tea making (including factory visit).

We can arrange permits from relevant authorities and be ready to set your foot on no man's land with your experienced tour guide.

Experienced Yoga instructor is on stand by (pre booking must) and what is more divine than seeking yourself in this enchanting mountains.
